I surveyed a group of 20 young people to help me decide which masthead to use for my magazine, and this was the most popular. Since it was most popular amongst my target audience, I decided to use this as it is what they would want to see in my magazine and would therefore be more appealing to a wider range of people interested in my music magazine. |

Magazine Pitch
The new music magazine "Muse" has officially been launched! My primary target age group will be aimed at 18-35 year olds because that was the most popular answer in my questionnaire. My secondary target audience is the general public, both male and female, who have an interest in the dominating music genre of my magazine. It will consist of the best current artists and upcoming musical events from around the globe. I will take inspiration from already existing, top selling magazines such as 'Q' and 'NME' and base my own magazine on these. I will feature similar contents of these magazines in my own such as live music and album reviews, interviews and new releases from popular chart artists.
