Film Poster Analysis 1 - Still Alice
- The main character is in the centre of the page which is a common convention of posters, however she is not looking directly at the camera. This portrays the idea that she is lost and confused and the emptiness in her facial expression helps support this idea.
- The poster itself is quite plain as there are no vibrant colours or lots of text. This could reflect on the idea that her mind is plain and blank because of the disease she has been diagnosed with.
- The text is very simple and basic along with the colour pallet as there are only two colours. This is to emphasise the way the mind works in an Alzheimer's sufferer.
